PAST EVENT: Annual Meeting

On December 5th, close to 250 guests gathered for our 2019 Annual Meeting at the New Haven Lawn Club to celebrate all who make Columbus House possible. Thanks to our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, partners, board members, staff, speakers and guests, the event was heartwarming and inspirational for all. A-1 Toyota, Dave Rubelmann, The Spring Glen Church, Alison Cunningham, and retiring Yale Board Fellow Ana Diaz Benitez received the 2019 John S. Maritnez Community Service Award. Guest speaker Dr. Richard Cho, CEO Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness, encouraged guests to remain steadfast in their commitment to our mission as Connecticut continues to make strides in ending homelessness. Our insights speaker, John, spoke of his lived experience with homelessness while thanking those in the room for helping him to regain his independence. See live tweets from the morning on Twitter and at #ch2019am and photos on Facebook!
