Helping Our Neighbors Find The Way Home
Serving Since 1982
Columbus House serves people experiencing homelessness, or at imminent risk, by providing life-saving outreach, shelter and housing and by fostering their personal growth and independence. We advocate for and create affordable housing to end homelessness in our communities.
Solving Homelessness
From shelter and housing to income and employment services, Columbus House addresses the complex factors that can lead to homelessness for individuals, families, and Veterans across New Haven, Middlesex, Hartford, and New London counties.
Our Impact
For over 40 years, Columbus House has been dedicated to lifting our neighbors out of homelessness. Through a combination of community outreach and support programs, we have expanded our focus from merely providing food and shelter to offering a broad continuum of care to those experiencing homelessness.
In partnership with supporters like you, we’ve been able to achieve meaningful outcomes for our neighbors each year.
